Data Analyst - Abbott Core Diagnostics

• Design and create new intelligence tools • Proficiency in: Python (Must), Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, DAX, R • Have user, administrator, and developer knowledge of Power BI • Strong emphasis on creating and maintaining documentation of code, data flow/pipeline, and testing scripts along with their results • Proven track record of effective data visualization and storytelling with data, able to aid user comprehension of dashboards and recommend best visualization practice • Able to perform in-depth data validation on data from various resources, research and resolve data discrepancies • Support Area Gross Margin Initiative projects with highest priority and generate P&L analysis • Support Area and Country service team on the various projects to drive service excellence KPI • Lead and drive consistency in analytics around revenue, costs and KPI with speed and high-level accuracy • Generate automation flow/pipeline to release alert to management team via Outlook • Collaborate across service, finance and supply chain teams across 12 countries • Ad hoc projects and tasks

Minimum Education: • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree Minimum Skills: • Strong programming skills, IT architecture, team player and knowledge of Power BI; • Focus on sustainable data architecture creation • Knowledge and hands of use of Python, Power BI • Preferred skills: SQL, DAX, Power Query, Power Automate, R • Self-starter mindset and keen interest in continuous learning and being at the forefront of advances in web scraping, data query data cleaning, and data visualization • Fast, responsive in communication, skilled communicator, culturally sensitive • A sense of commercial acumen and understanding of business strategy • Well-developed communication skills with strong data analysis and communication capabilities. • Strong competencies in analysis, goal setting, quality focus, communication, interpersonal relations, teamwork, and risk management. • Excellent communication skills in English and other Asian Languages • High level ability to multi-task and manage parallel assignments and work across countries, divisions and functions • Intellectually rigorous, analytical, and curious.
