Hotel Accountant

With substantial growth in intrastate travel for leisure, conferences, and events, we are looking for a full time Hotel Accountant for our Office in Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam to support our Accounts team in Australia. This is a great opportunity for a Hotel Accountant with English communication skills looking for an opportunity to work in purely English environment - Daily credit card and general ledger reconciliations for our hotels in Australia. - Oversee the accurate completion of the month-end process. - Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for the Hotels. - Focus on performance analyses and consequent process improvements. - To undertake the day-to-day functions of the Accounting Department to ensure all accounting functions including payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable are carried out in a timely & efficient manner. - Provide accurate and timely reporting of statutory financial information to the Group Financial Controller. - To assist and support the Financial Controller in ensuring the Hotel profit targets are achieved through the control and monitoring of costs. - Ensure Hotel internal controls are maintained, and management policy & procedures are upheld by working with all Heads of Department; and - Assist the Financial Controller in preparation of weekly & monthly management reports.

- At least 2-year professional work experience in all aspects of Hotel accounting; or overseas students/accounting professionals who possess relevant Australian qualifications and work experience are also invited to apply. - Experience in using hotel industrial with hotel systems: Opera, POS Micros Symphony, RMS, SUN Accounting System… is a plus. - Candidates must be fluent in English both spoken and written with a minimum 6 IELTS for all components. - Excellent computer skills.
