Besra is fortunate to operate in the most mineral rich areas in Southeast Asia. In Viet Nam, Besra is a leading producer of gold. We acquired Bong Mieu property in 1997 and opened a gold plant there in 2005. We were granted exploration licenses at Phuoc Son in 1999, and commissioned that gold plant in June 2011. It remains the most modern gold facility in the country. Building on our initial success, Besra has expanded to other mineral-rich areas in Southeast Asia, including Capcapo Gold Field in the Philippines and the Carlin-style deposits at the Bau Gold Project in East Malaysia. Besides, we have corporate offices in Toronto, Canada and Auckland, New Zealand. Today, together with the total of over 1.700 staff, the greatest asset we have, Besra becomes unique.
