SOPET Gas One is the joint–venture company of three Corporation statures which are Saisan Company Limited (Gas One), Dong Thap Petroleum Trading Import – Export Corporation (PETIMEX) and Sojitz Corporation (SJC), and has been in Vietnam since 2007. We specialize in LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) and CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Business. Saisan Co., Ltd. was founded in October 1945. Its core business was sales of high-pressure gas and related equipment. Today, as one of eastern Japan's leading energy companies, we contribute to the industrial development and a better life for all by providing LP Gas (LPG), other types of high-pressure and medical gases, as well as in the manufacture and sales of related equipment. With “Gas One” brand name, Saisan has 71 sales offices, 20 filling stations and 30 subsidiaries all over Japan, and 3 overseas subsidiaries in China, Mongolia, and Vietnam. Through achievements and their over 60 years of experience, SAISAN will contribute stable financial supports and technical supports for SOPET Gas One to develop and expand in Vietnamese industrial and retail market. Sojitz Corporation (SJC as a merged entity between former Nissho Iwai & Nichimen) is one of the biggest leading trading houses in Japan. SJC has the longest business history in trading, investment & finance in Vietnam. SJC will contribute most effective management supports to SOPET Gas One with their sufficient knowledge and experiences for 145 years. Especially in Vietnam, SJC is supplying about 35% of total LPG imported by utilizing 5 LPG vessels from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and China. SJC will contribute most of stable and competitive supply of LPG to SOPET Gas One. Dong Thap Petroleum Trading Import – Export Co. (PETIMEX) is one of the major leading petroleum company in Vietnam and owns well –conditioned petroleum product tank terminals and jetty with deep draft which will be able to receive VLGC (Very Large Gas Carrier) to supply refrigerated LPG from Middle East into SOPET Gas One soon. With “PETIMEX” brand name, there are currently over 10 branches as well as subsidiaries stretching across Vietnam market, and oversea branch at Cambodia. PETIMEX will contribute to SOPET Gas One by developing domestic LPG market with their strong Vietnam network.
