Vandermaesen NV is a processing/importing company located in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. The company was founded in 1936 and is still privately family owned by the 3rd generation today. Vandermaesen built a reputation in the European market with its marinated herring products and is now a longlasting supplier of major supermarket chains in Europe for fresh and frozen fish. In addition to the importing activities, the company recently set up a representative office in Vietnam for the procurement and follow up of the products bought in Asia for the European market. Furthermore, the aim is to expand the trading business into new markets within Asia.
