As an Accountant in the financial services industry, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the financial health of the organization. Description As an Accountant, your main responsibilities will include: * Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports. * Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. * Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities. * Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies. * Collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient financial operations. * Managing payroll processes and employee expense reports. * Supporting audits and preparing necessary documentation. * Providing financial insights to aid decision-making processes. Profile A successful Accountant should have: * Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Relevant accounting background (internships or bookkeeping accepted); and accounting, preferably with exposure to Australian accounting standards or clients; Big4 is preferable. * Familiarity with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks is a strong advantage. * Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. * Good written and verbal communication in English. * Proactive, team-oriented, and willing to learn and grow in an international environment.
