Accountant

Job purpose: Work for F&A department in HLHVJOC

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and check G&A invoices, Charity expenses and ensure payments comply with

contracts, policies and procedures.

• Verify G&A budget for Users/Contract to ensure it aligns accurately with the approved

budget of Partners.

• Monitor G&A’s contract to ensure estimated contract values are sufficient.

• Prepare IPA, JV, BRV, BPR for approval and input, update IPAs into IR and SUN system.

• Prepare Accrual for HLHV’s G&A expenditures and make relevant adjustment.

• Liaise with Accounting Team to ensure timely payment and accurate coding of G&A

invoices.

• Prepare General Ledgers journals for month end closing.

• Provide relevant documents and work with auditing teams.

• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required by FM and DFM.

Education: Bachelor of Business / Finance and Accounting

Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of financial internal control procedures and principles.

2. Knowledge of JOC’s policies and procedures.

3. Fluency in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).

4. Good computing skills.

5. Prior experience with international oil and gas industry and petroleum contracts will be preferable but not essential.

6. Prior experience of an internationally accepted oil and gas accounting package (e.g. Sun system, Vision,.. ) will be preferable.

7. VAS (Vietnamese Accounting System)

8. Team work spirit.
