Accountant (AR/AP)

General Accounting (AR & AP Scope)

Perform daily accounting transactions related to:

• Customer invoices and receipts (AR)

• Vendor invoices and payments (AP)

• Review and verify supporting documents to ensure compliance with: Company policies + Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations

• Post accounting entries accurately in SAP, ensuring proper account determination and clearing.

• Support AR and AP reconciliations, including Customer balances and Vendor balances

• Intercompany transactions (Share Service Recharge)

• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies related to billing, payments, or postings.

Inventory Accounting & Control (Key Focus)

• Monitor and control inventory accounting in SAP: Goods receipt (GR) Goods issue (GI) Inventory adjustments

• Perform inventory reconciliation between: SAP inventory reports, Warehouse records, General Ledger

• Support periodic: Inventory counts – Stock takes with 3rd parties.

• Prepare and record inventory provisions (slow-moving, obsolete stock) in accordance with company policy.

• Work closely with Warehouse and Operations to ensure inventory movements are properly recorded and supported.

Bank & Month-End Closing

Assist in bank transaction postings and bank reconciliations.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including:

• Cut-off checks

• Reconciliations of AR, AP, Inventory, and Bank accounts

• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for:

• Internal review

• External audit

• Statutory reporting

Compliance, Audit & Reporting

Ensure accounting records are maintained in line with:

• Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS)

• Tax regulations

• Internal control requirements

Support audit processes by:

• Preparing audit schedules

• Providing explanations and supporting documents

• Participate in continuous improvement of accounting processes and SAP usage.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related fields.

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading or manufacturing environments.

• Experience working in a SAP environment is a MUST.

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of:

• AR & AP accounting processes

• Inventory accounting and reconciliation

• VAT regulations

Hands-on SAP experience in:

• AR / AP postings

• Inventory-related transactions and reports

• Good command of Excel (Pivot tables, reconciliation tools).

Personal Competencies

• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and accountable.

• Able to manage multiple accounting areas without losing control.

• Strong coordination skills with internal stakeholders.

• Comfortable working under closing deadlines and audit timelines.
