Accountant Cum Cashier(Clerk)

Job Purpose

• Taking out the cash at the beginning of the day and recording the same in Finacle through HTM menu. Transfer the cash to vault before leaving Branch to ensure CSOLOP.

• Cash to be physically balanced with cash report generated from Finacle using menu option HSCWRPT. Cash also to be tallied with the Daily Cash Book Register.

• Recording of balances in various registers for USD, VND and CASH received/paid

• Cash deposits and withdrawal to/from SBV - HCMC & VCB – HCMC.

• Receipt and payment of cash from and to the customers through cheque or withdrawal slip.

• Creation of Customer ID, Opening & Closing of Accounts (SB/CD/TD etc.)

• Signature scanning: All the signatures of the new SB/CD accounts opened should be scanned on daily basis and verified by the Chief Accountant or Dy General Director

• Modifications in account Masters. Updation of data of customer when requested or required.

• Standing Instructions receiving and processing from customers.

• Transfer entries pertaining related to customer transaction, PL accounts, FX/MM section to be posted in Finacle.

• Processing local & foreign inward and outward remittances:

a) passing the transfer voucher in the system as per requirement,

b) Initiate the transfer through VCB Money or CITAD system.

c) Taking the printout of the remittance application after its authorization. Verification of guidelines and documents while processing remittance request.

• Support in Preparing monthly statistical reports submitted to State Bank of Vietnam.

• Any other duty with respect to the exigency of Branch’s operation may be assigned by the General Director/Dy General Director.

Qualification and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Banking or any Credit Institution and having a chief accountant training certificate will be given preference in selection.

• Good communication skills in English with any certificate in English Language.
