Accounting & Finance Lead- Upto 50M Net

Role overview:

• The Finance Manager oversees and coordinates all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, cost control, cash flow management, and compliance with accounting and tax regulations. This role provides timely financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• The Finance Manager also serves as the key liaison with banks, auditors, investors and tax authorities, ensuring strong financial governance and effective risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting, Tax & Compliance

- Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting, tax, and audit standards.

- Manage payment accounts, banking relationships, and external audits.

- Liaise with tax and regulatory authorities to ensure timely reporting.

• Financial Planning & Analysis

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.

- Provide financial insights to support pricing, investment, and cost control decisions.

• Cash Management

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operations.

- Optimize bank and payment gateway utilization for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard cash and prevent risks.

• Investor Relations

- Prepare financial updates and insights for current and potential investors.

- Support fundraising, due diligence, and investor communications.

• Legal & Regulatory (Corporate Governance)

- Ensure compliance with corporate, financial, and commercial regulations.

- Review key contracts and monitor regulatory changes affecting business operations.

- Maintain statutory filings and governance documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, business planning, or FP&A; experience in e-commerce, retail, or technology companies is an advantage.

• Solid understanding of accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance teams.

• Familiarity with tax compliance, audit coordination, and interactions with banks or other financial institutions.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal).
