Berwick Industries is a U.S.-based company specializing in the manufacturing of poly gift packaging items that are sold in over 30 major retailers including Walmart, Target, Kroger, Aldi, HomeGoods, Lowe’s, Costco, and more.
We are currently seeking a Accountant Manager for our Vietnam office to help streamline our accounting process.
Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Accountant Manager with 6-10+ years of relevant experience to join our team. The responsibilities for this position will include supporting accounts receivable including general accounting, month-end reconciliations, assisting with forecasting, monitoring budgets, and other accounting related functions. Additionally, a strong understanding of the basics of general ledger accounting and US GAAP is required. It is essential for the candidate to be able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accounts with exceptional attention to detail. The candidate must be willing to work a hybrid schedule that accommodates the US East Coast time zone.

Key Responsibilities
• Developing and monitoring financial forecasts and budgets.
• Manufacturing-specific general ledger accounting.
• Account reconciliation including credit cards, cash, and accounts receivable.
• Accounts payable and credit card expense entry.
• Assistance with developing and monitoring budgets.
• Expense allocation.
• Develop an understanding of company regulations & policies
• Friendly cooperation, professional attitude in company.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Yêu cầu công việc
• 6+ years of full charge accounting experience.
• Understanding of US GAAP accounting regulations.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and/or Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting.
• Understanding of multi-entity accounting.
• Ability to manage, prioritize workload and problem solves in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a modified schedule to align with US working hours.
• High level of attention to details and analytical thinking.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese. Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills including: the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and message. appropriately and the ability to readily work across multiple departments in a collaborative manner.
* Must be willing to work 2-4 most evenings to overlap with US EST time zone.
* Needs to be experienced and able to hit the ground running. Strong understanding of GL accounting and ability to create financial statements from scratch.
