Accounting Manager (Brand Team)

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to lead our Brand Accounting team (10 members). This role is central to the Finance & Accounting function, with ownership of end-to-end P&L by brand, including revenue recognition, COGS, receivables, working capital, and payment terms. The Accounting Manager will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across brand-level financial operations while driving process improvements and supporting business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the Brand Accounting team (Revenue, COGS, Billing, AR).

• Take full ownership of P&L by brand, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee revenue and COGS recognition, billing, accounts receivable, and working capital management.

• Drive improvements in billing processes—timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy—through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Review and manage monthly brand and service-level performance reports.

• Ensure compliance with VAS, IFRS, and local tax regulations.

• Maintain accurate, timely financial reporting in alignment with group reporting standards.

Governance & Internal Controls

• Develop, implement, and strengthen internal controls, Standard Process Operations (SPO), and accounting policies.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal control teams during audits and reviews.

Business Transformation

• Support ERP/system integration projects, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Contribute to finance transformation projects to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Other

• Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Chief Accountant and Finance leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related field.

• Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) strongly preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and tax experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead role.

• Prior Big 4 audit or professional tax firm experience is a plus.

• Solid knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations, VAS, and IFRS.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines.
