ACMV Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, installation, testing, commission, and maintenance of ACMV systems in line with project specifications, codes, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ACMV systems including load calculations, equipment selection, and layout planning;

• Review and coordinate ACMV system drawings (schematic, single-line, shop drawings) with other disciplines;

• Manage works, design schedule of mechanical services based on the overall schedule of the project;

• Prepare technical submissions, equipment / material specifications, and method statements;

• Authorship supervision of ACMV installation work on-site to ensure compliance with design and quality standards;

• Liaise with other consultants, sub-consultants, contractors to resolve technical and coordination issues;

• Witness the testing & commissioning (T&C) of ACMV systems and ensure all performance parameters are met;

• Prepare site Authorship reports, technical issues, T&C results, and as-built documentation;

• Support maintenance and troubleshooting activities for completed ACMV systems (if applicable);

• Ensure all the design work complies with relevant codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations;

• Report to Team Leader and M&E Manager.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in ACMV design consultancy roles.

• Technical Competencies:

• High proficiency in English is an ADVANTAGE;

• Familiar with local codes & standards and statutory requirements. Having experiences working with international codes & standards is a strong plus;

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other necessary software.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills;

• Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
