About the Role

We are building a cutting-edge Home AI Data Center — a compact, plug-and-play system combining AI acceleration, high-performance computing, and home-server functionality in a single, beautifully engineered unit.

We are seeking a skilled AI Assembly & Electronics Technician to support the hands-on assembly, wiring, testing, and refinement of prototype units. This role is vital to turning engineering designs into fully functional, high-quality hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

Prototype Assembly

Assemble prototype units including motherboard, GPU, memory, SSDs, cooling systems, power supply, wiring, and sensors.

Install and cable-manage high-performance components in compact chassis environments.

Assist in integrating cooling plates, thermal pads, liquid cooling lines, and heat dissipation modules.

Electronics & Wiring

Handle soldering, crimping, custom cable creation, and connector installation.

Assemble and route internal wiring harnesses for power, signal, and sensor lines.

Assist in custom PCB, power module, or controller board assembly (if required).

Testing & Diagnostics

Perform hardware testing, including:

CPU/GPU stress tests

Thermal tests

Power load tests

Component validation

Identify hardware issues, loose connections, defective components, and signal problems.

Report faults and work with engineers to resolve integration challenges.

Quality & Documentation

Ensure all assemblies meet high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and reliability.

Maintain documentation for builds, wiring diagrams, and component tracking.

Ensure safe handling of high-value components and ESD-sensitive parts.

Collaboration

Work directly with the AI Hardware Systems Engineer on technical tasks and improvements.

Support Mechanical Engineers in fitting components into prototypes and evaluating design compatibility.

Provide feedback to the team to improve assembly efficiency and product reliability.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Technical Skills

Experience assembling PCs, servers, or embedded electronic systems.

Strong knowledge of wiring, cable management, and electrical safety.

Able to solder, crimp connectors, and work with multimeters and diagnostic tools.

Understanding of cooling systems (airflow, thermal pads, heat pipes, liquid cooling).

Familiarity with computer hardware components (motherboards, GPUs, PSUs, SSDs).

Experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, or mechanical drawings (optional but beneficial).

Soft Skills

High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.

Able to follow engineering instructions accurately.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements – AI Assembly & Electronics Technician

Minimum Education & Experience

High school diploma, vocational certificate, or associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

1 - 2 years of experience in PC, server, or embedded electronics assembly.

Proficient in assembly of high-performance PCs, servers, or electronic prototypes.

Skilled in soldering, crimping, connector installation, and cable management.

Familiarity with hardware components: CPU, GPU, RAM, SSDs, PSUs, and cooling systems.

Knowledge of thermal solutions: fans, heat pipes, cold plates, and liquid cooling.

Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings.

Competent with diagnostic tools: multimeters, power testers, thermal sensors.

Able to perform hardware testing: stress testing, thermal evaluation, and component verification.

Understanding of electrical safety, ESD precautions, and proper handling of sensitive components.
