AI Engineer (3 Years Experience)

We are looking for excellent engineers who can research & develop AI solutions. You will be given a chance to work on different real-world problems in various business domains of Toshiba using the latest AI technologies. You will sharpen your skills by constantly sharing with other senior members in our team or collaborating with experts in Toshiba R&D groups in Japan. Education & Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information and Communication Technology, related Engineering fields, or Mathematics. Preference given to graduates from HUST, VNU/UET, PTIT, or FPT.

• At least 3 years of post-graduation experience working on real AI projects in an industry environment.

Knowledge/Skills

• Strong analytical skills and mindset.

• Solid background in Maths and Computer Science.

• Proficient in software engineering skills and fluent in one of the following programming languages: Python, C++, Java (Python is most preferred).

• Demonstrated practical experience in developing Generative AI/LLM applications through real and impactful projects (at least 1 year of hands-on work in this area is required). Examples include chatbot development, AI agents, etc.

• Good foundation and practical experience related to deep learning, machine learning, or data science.

• Experience with LLMOps/MLOps and cloud-based development is preferred.

• Ability to quickly research and apply technologies to relevant problems.

• Ability to manage projects independently, including problem analysis, solution design, implementation, task assignment to team members, output review and control, and reporting to stakeholders.

• Proficient in writing technical reports and presenting technical problems (in English).

• Proficient in English (all 4 skills), knowing Japanese is a plus.

• Good at work management, able to work independently as well as collaborate with other teams.

• Other attitude characteristics: proactive, responsible, can-do, and get-things-done.
