AI Team Leader

FPT IS is looking for a strategic AI Team Leader to lead the design, development, and implementation of AI solutions for the Finance & Banking sector.

This role will drive the adoption of AI technologies that enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and enable data-driven growth across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

- Consult and contribute to the AI strategy and development roadmap with the Sector’s Board of Management.

- Lead and oversee AI, banking, and fintech projects, products, and services.

- Define and execute the enterprise data and AI strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance, and ethical standards.

- Identify and deliver high-impact AI initiatives across customer engagement, risk assessment, underwriting, and retention.

- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of predictive models and AI solutions — ensuring scalability, reliability, and fairness.

- Strengthen data infrastructure, governance, and quality in collaboration with technology and business teams.

- Lead and develop a cross-functional team (data scientists, AI engineers, analytics experts).

- Foster a data-driven and innovation-oriented culture across the organization.

- Ensure compliance with AI governance, data privacy, and financial regulations.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields.

- 5+ years of experience in AI, Data Science, or Analytics, including 3+ years in leadership or technical management.

- Proven success in AI transformation or digital innovation within financial or banking institutions.

- Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory frameworks, and financial operations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver AI-driven initiatives with measurable business impact.
