Airfreight Development And Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the company’s airfreight product and carrier network.

• Work directly with the Regional Airfreight Manager, overseas partners, and local sales to identify and develop new opportunities.

• Negotiate and manage rates, allocations, and contracts with airlines and co-load partners.

• Monitor market trends and recommend strategies for rate and service optimization.

• Support sales with pricing and service solutions for airfreight inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with IATA and Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations.

• Coordinate closely with operations to ensure smooth execution of bookings.

• 3–5 years of experience in the airfreight industry, preferably within a freight forwarder working directly with airlines.

• Proven experience negotiating contracts with airlines.

• DG Certificate holder is a plus.

• Solid understanding of direct airline processes, rate structures, and capacity management.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

• Good English communication (spoken and written).
