JOB OBJECTIVE:
• To provide quality technical support to sales team and assist to increase sales.
• To support customers with pre-sales/post-sales technical service support for EMS/OEM/ODM industry such as Testing and production instrument/equipment.
• To provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• To solve customer problems with competent technical knowhow and value-add solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the field engineer to exceed sales target via Pre and Post-sales Technical Support such as:- Demonstration, Product Application, Product Training, Testing and Commissioning of Test and Measurement and production equipment
• Participate actively in sales process from deal qualification to benchmarking until deal closure;
• Be an expert in customer application and competent to identify key technical value differentiators to win deals
• Analyse customer requirements, recommend and find the right solution for the customer
• Be the customer's "rock". Handle customer enquiries and solving customers' technical problems with excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction
• To build up good relationship with customers to enhance customers' retention
• Take initiative to continuously improve support services provided to customers
• To carry out other duties or responsibilities assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT:
• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Working experience in the related Semiconductor/Electronics/Manufacturing industry & background in Test & Measurement and production system.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in technical capacity.
• In-dept knowledge of using test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generation, spectrum analyzer and for RF Power Meters and Noise Figure Analyzer and Network Analyzer would be an added advantage
• Strong PC hardware & software troubleshooting skills. Instrument programming knowledge in SCPI or instrument drivers on .NET, C#, C++ or Keysight/Agilent Vee would be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of techniques in mechanical alignment, system set-up, buy-off, principles, tools, and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Knowledge of equipment, tools, mechanical devices, and their uses to produce motion, light, power, technology, and other applications.
• Preferably with the capability to read & interpret engineering drawing.
• Ability to identify materials used in production and troubleshoots faulty equipment.
• Possess technical troubleshooting and reverse engineering abilities.
• Good initiatives & self-starter with strong team spirit
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Good command of English
• Team player. Self-motivated and love to help customers to solve technical problems
• Willing to travel outstation / overseas for business purposes (if required)
• Able to work long and irregular hours (if required)
