Architectural Drafter - Wine Cellar Projects

Job Description:

The primary role of the Architectural Drafter is to design wine cellars. Daily tasks include but are not limited to, creating floor plans, organizing design pages, and developing 3-D designs using Revit for all elevation views. The drafter will collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure customers receive professional and high-quality plans for each project. Candidates must have knowledge of space planning and architectural drafting to join in on wine cellar projects. Throughout this process, the drafter will also be trained in the specifics of wine cellar development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales staff to create and execute wine cellar designs that meet the specifications of US clients.

• Utilize Revit and Auto-CAD for architectural drafting and space planning.

• Develop detailed architectural drawings and plans for wine cellars.

• Ensure designs are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and meet the highest quality standards.

• Make proactive decisions and maintain attention to detail throughout the design process.

• Communicate with clients and team members effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Demonstrate a strong passion for excellence and a team player mentality.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, landscape design, interior design or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in architectural drafting and space planning. Experience in wine cellar design is a plus but not mandatory.

• Skills:

o MUST have knowledge of space planning and architectural drafting.

o Advanced proficiency in Revit is mandatory. Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design software is a plus.

o Ability to create floor plans, organize design pages, and create 3-D designs for all elevation views.

• Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing. French is a plus.

• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Detail-oriented: High attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Work Under Pressure: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Training: Candidates without prior experience in wine cellar design will receive training to develop the necessary expertise.
