Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Draftsperson with a strong interest in shop drawings for façade glazing and aluminum framing systems. All of our projects are based in Australia, offering valuable exposure to Australian codes and standards.

Beyond core drafting tasks, this role offers opportunities to work on diverse and interesting projects such as Australian government building refurbishments, landscaping drafting, rendering, and 3D modeling by Revit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed architectural shop drawings.

• Support drafting workflows and ensure timely project delivery.

• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, client specifications, and industry standards.

• Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical challenges.

• Perform quality assurance checks on all drafting outputs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting with a strong focus on shop drawings.

• Proficient in: AutoCAD (Xref, sheet set manager), Revit.

• Solid understanding of construction methods and aluminum/glass systems.

• Familiarity with Australian building codes and regulations is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to optimize workflows and troubleshoot software issues.
