Area Sales Manager (Topicals Product Group)

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the Topicals Product Group (Teoxane - Cosmetics, Skingenuity, Stratpharma) is responsible for achieving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring excellent customer service within the assigned region. The role includes developing and executing the regional business plan, managing the sales budget, and ensuring the effective performance of the sales team.
The ASM directly manages relationships with existing customers, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, while proactively expanding new customer networks. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent English communication skills. Candidates with experience working with healthcare professionals (HCPs) such as doctors or hospitals are preferred.
1. Business Planning & Budget Control
- Develop, execute, and track the regional sales and business plan for the Topicals line.
- Manage and optimize the sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
2. Sales Management & Performance Tracking
- Achieve assigned sales targets and ensure sustainable growth.
- Monitor and analyze regional sales data, KPIs, and market performance.
3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify, approach, and develop new potential customers to expand the Topicals business.
4. Market Development & Competitor Analysis
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitors’ activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Recommend effective sales strategies to strengthen market presence.
5. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and motivate sales representatives to ensure high performance.
- Conduct regular training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
6. Reporting & Communication
- Prepare accurate business reports and forecasts for management.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional departments (Marketing, Medical, Supply Chain).
Yêu cầu công việc
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business, or Marketing.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector. Experience working with doctors/hospitals is highly preferred.
• Skills:
- Strong English communication (both written and spoken).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Results-driven, customer-oriented, and team-focused.
