Asistant Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth and efficient production, handling, and packaging processes in line with quality and output targets.

• Manage stock levels of raw materials and finished goods (through supervisors) to meet production forecasts and new product development needs.

• Monitor production performance (output/yield) against targets and take corrective action when necessary.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and ensure plant reliability.

• Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of production materials and packaging supplies.

• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with legal and company requirements.

• Supervise external service contractors (cleaning, waste management, gardening, etc.) to ensure cost-efficient and quality service delivery.

• Support training initiatives and identify staff development needs in alignment with budgeted plans.

• Promote effective communication across teams through regular meetings and updates.

• Maintain and update relevant personnel and operational records.

• Perform other management duties as required to support the smooth operation and continuous improvement of the plant.

• Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Solid understanding of health & safety, quality standards, and production KPIs.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and technical documentation is a plus.
