Assistant Finance Manager (Fp&a) - Top Leading Retail Companies

This person will lead the financial operations for both Retail and Ecommerce. You will take responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cash management, and accounting support, while partnering with stakeholders to drive business performance and compliance.

Description

Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Analysis:

* Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for Retail (stores) and Ecommerce (platforms).

* Analyze and compare actual results with budget and forecasts to support decision-making.

* Prepare and review financial reports, including P&L and balance sheets, on a monthly basis.

* Collaborate with Retail and Ecommerce teams to drive financial compliance and support growth initiatives.

Cash Management & Collection Process:

* Oversee cash flow management, ensuring efficient funding for operations.

* Analyze financial data to optimize cash flow and capital usage.

* Manage and ensure the accuracy of accounts receivable, settlements, and VAT-related tasks.

* Address sales-related financial issues and support terminal setups for new store launches.

Accounting Support:

* Assist in month-end closing activities, including journal entries, audit schedules, and reconciliations.

* Perform IFRS 16 lease accounting and maintain lease schedules.

* Support additional accounting tasks such as stock counts, fixed asset verification, and reporting.

Lead Finance Improvement Projects:

* Lead or assist in projects to enhance financial processes, such as SAP system upgrades or Power BI dashboard implementation.

* Focus on continuous improvement initiatives within the Finance Department.

Profile

* 5-7 years in Finance or Accounting, ideally in audit firms or multinational environments, minimum 1 year of supervisory experience and Retail background.

* Proficiency in Excel and experience with HFM, SAP.

* Familiar with IFRS 16 lease accounting.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.

* Passionate, motivated, logical, able to handle stress, and strong teamwork abilities.
