Assistant Manager, Accounting & Tax Services

This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic candidate who is looking to make next career move within a large global Professional Services Firm. The level can be from Senior to Assistant Manager depending on your relavent experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and preparation of required reports and deliverables for allocated engagements such as monthly bookkeeping, periodic statutory statistics, statutory financial statements, accounting health check, accounting advisory, tax compliance, e-invoicing, etc.;

• Effective communication with Senior Management of KPMG and the clients’ authorized representatives at each stage of conducting the above services;

• Review of necessary documentation prepared by junior team members;

• Willing to work at the clients’ sites for secondment services;

• Support Senior Management in preparing technical training materials; and

• Other tasks assigned by Line Manager and/or Partner (if necessary).

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Accounting;

• For AM level: At least 5 year experience working in accounting fields for accounting outsourcing or professional accounting service firms; Valid Accounting Practicing Certificate is required

• For Senior level: At least 3 year experience working in accounting fields for accounting outsourcing or professional accounting service firms;

• Good analytical, organizational and communication skills;

• Ability to prepare financial statements for clients’ various industries;

• Ability to manage and coach team members;

• Ability to work under pressure;

• Excellent proficiency in English language and computer skills;

• Good knowledge and application of International Financial Reporting Standards will be considered as an advantage.
