Assistant Manager - Planning

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to customers by managing and optimizing production and dyeing capacities. This role involves coordinating with various teams to confirm delivery dates, develop and monitor production plans, resolve order-related issues, and provide regular status updates to management. The Capacity Planner plays a crucial role in aligning production schedules with customer demand and maintaining efficient use of internal resources.

1. Order Management:

• Develop and monitor dyeing and production plans to align with customer demand while optimizing internal resources effectively

• Confirm delivery dates of purchase orders, considering production capacity, dye capacity, raw material availability, and third-party confirmations to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers

2. Monitor performance:

• Follow up on weekly plans with the dyeing and production teams to ensure tasks are executed according to the planned schedule and deadlines are met

• Collaborate with sales, sourcing, dye house, and production teams to address order-related issues promptly

3. Align with customer demands:

• Work with customer operations teams to manage order modifications, lead times, and delivery adjustments based on customer requests

4. Status Reporting:

• Update the management on production and dyeing status, highlighting any potential risks or delays

5. Management information:

• Prepare and provide various reports to management and respective sections to update them on production status, targets, and deadlines, and take necessary measures to achieve targets

▪ Bachelor's degree in Statistic, Production Management or related field

▪ 3 - 4 years of experience in production planning

▪ Proven leadership and team management abilities

▪ Strong presentation skills and attention to detail

▪ Excellent command of spoken and written English, Vietnamese and the ability to converse well in Chinese

▪ Previous hands-on experience in an ERP environment (SAP system) will be a plus

▪ Strong analytical and presentation skill.

▪ Proficient in MS Office applications

▪ Experience with Power BI and data analytics is advantageous

▪ Fluent in the local language and English; proficiency in Chinese is a bonus.
