Assistant Product Manager

At OLLI we’re building an ecosystem of AI-powered hardware, software and services that would bring about positive changes to people’s lives. We are confident in the vision we have set out to achieve and are proud of what we have accomplished so far. We are now looking for someone who can help us take the next crucial step and prepare the product for a successful launch. This is where you come in.

As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will lay out the processes that ensure our product does not fail in real world usage. You will design safety nets so that, in case something does actually break, the damage is contained and the impact to the customer’s experience is minimized.

You will be the first one to set things in motion, to get us started on the right path to proper product QA, QC and testing. You will be both the architect and the builder. That means being involved in all aspects of QA, including running the tests that you designed yourself. Along the way, as more tasks are being defined and maintained, you will be expected to build up and lead a team to keep the all the gears turning.

The product we are building and its ecosystem is very complex and encompasses many different disciplines. You can be writing software unit tests in the morning, measuring wireless signals in the afternoon and having test conversation with a virtual assistant before going home. For this reason, we expect you to broaden your horizon to include new disciplines that you may not be familiar with.

The most important quality for this job is being proactive. You are an expert in your field and know more about it than anyone else in the team. You should be the one who initates changes. You should constantly find new ways to reinforce the product.
