Assistant Production Specialist (Fabric & Trims)

Core Purpose
Provide critical administrative and logistical support to Production Specialists across bulk order execution, sample management, and documentation for fabric and trim operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bulk Order Support
• Assist in preparing order documentation (Sales Confirmations, delivery trackers).
• Verify PO details (quantities, deadlines) against system records.
2. Sample & Package Management
• Check/review all incoming/outgoing packages (development samples, strike-offs, PP samples) for accuracy and damage.
• Arrange approved PP samples and strike-offs for shipment to garment suppliers.
• Coordinate sample yardage delivery from fabric/trim suppliers to garment factories.
3. Quality & Logistics Coordination
• Work with QA Team to confirm samples meet specs before shipment.
• Coordinate with Logistics for sample/package shipments (domestic/international), including documentation (airway bills, customs forms).
4. Strike-Off & Sample Administration
• Review strike-offs (fabric/print) for completeness before sending to HQ for approval.
• Check sample yardage from suppliers against quality standards prior to forwarding.
5. Data & System Management
• Update ERP systems with order status, shipment dates, and sample approvals.
• Generate daily/weekly progress reports for Specialists.
6. Ad-Hoc Support
• Address urgent requests from supervisors (e.g., expedited couriers, supplier follow-ups).
• Maintain organized physical/digital sample libraries.

• Fluency in English (written/spoken) for supplier/team coordination
• Diploma/Bachelor’s in Textile, Logistics, or related field
• 1–2 years in apparel/fashion operations (preferred)
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• 1–2 years in production/merchandising support; familiarity with fabrics/trims.

• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, proactive problem-solver.
• Physical: Handle sample packages; occasional warehouse visits.
