Assistant Purchasing Manager

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:

• Develop and PCBA commodity strategy to support business strategy and growth aspirations.

• Identify, represent and develop, maintain relationships with best sources of PCBA.

• Responsible for marketing intelligence research to understand electronica components market variation to understand risk and opportunities.

• Routine work including RFQs, CBOM and cost tracker maintain, SRM maintain etc.

• Cooperate with cross functional team( US EE, China EE, NPI, categorty, quality team….) to delivery NPI projects on time, on cost and on quality.

• Follow each stage for NPD projects by running bidding, supplier recommendation and cost confirmation.

• Follow up order allocation rules to manage dual or multi source.

• Build capacity database together with commodity planning team to avoid potential delivery risk.

• Continuous benchmark follow-up on related product activities.

• Multi-cultural working style to communicate and growth with team.

• Responsible and ensure that all purchasing actions are taken in accordance with relevant policies, regulations and ethics.

• Kick off sourcing activities (negotiation, dual source and VAVE ) to support on savings achievement.

• Manage critical component: IC, relay, display, encoder, triac, connector.

• 10+ years and above of experience in strategy sourcing.

• Knowledge/Experience of electronics products, PCBA, Electronica components, small home appliances related manufacturing process.

• Strategic thinking with leadership proof.

• Excellent communication, Interpersonal & effective negotiation skills.

• Teamwork orientated, self-motivated & able to work Independently.

• Strong supplier quality, project management & mechanical & electrical engineering background.

• Strong knowledge and background on IC, relay, display… critical components.

• High work ethic and attitude.

• Hardworking and flexible working time.

• Able to work in a very fast paced environment as a team member.

• Good communication in English, written and oral, is a MUST. Good skill in office software, like Excel and Access.
