1. Goal of the function
• Product Innovation: Contributing to the development of new products that meet market demands and align with company objectives.
• Quality Assurance: Maintaining consistent quality throughout the production process, from raw material sourcing to finished product delivery.
• Supplier Management: Ensuring that suppliers adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Team Development: Providing guidance and support to the QC team, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in the quality management system and implementing effective solutions.
2. Core purpose & activities
• To ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with regulatory standards.
• Research and Development: Assist in the development of new products, conduct research, and evaluate prototypes.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control activities, including inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Supplier Management: Conduct supplier audits, evaluate performance, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Team Development: Provide guidance and support to the QC team, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant food safety regulations and industry standards.
3. Responsibilities
• R&D Support: Assisting the Head of QM and R&D in research, development, and innovation projects.
• Supplier Audits: Conducting or participating in supplier audits to assess quality standards and compliance.
• Quality Assurance: Overseeing daily quality control activities, addressing issues, and ensuring adherence to regulations.
• QC Supervision: Providing guidance and support to the quality control team.
• Product Inspections: Conducting pre-shipment inspections and supervising loading processes.
• Product Development: Contributing to the creation of new products through research, testing, and evaluation.
• Quality System Understanding: Acquiring a deep understanding of Binca Development's quality management system.
Yêu cầu công việc
1. Professional expertise
- English and Vietnamese proficiency
- Degree in Food Technology
- Experience: entry level (prior field experience is a plus)
• Quality Management Systems: Knowledge of quality management systems such as HACCP, ISO, BRC, IFS,... or other industry-relevant standards.
• Food Safety: Understanding of food safety regulations, hazards, and control measures.
• Research and Development: Experience in conducting research, testing, and evaluating products.
• Supplier Management: Skills in assessing supplier capabilities, conducting audits, and managing relationships.
• Quality Control: Knowledge of quality control techniques, inspection procedures, and testing methods.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with team members, suppliers, and customers.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for quality management, data analysis, and documentation.

• Flexibility: willing to travel and spend prolonged time in remote areas during the initial training stage
*Initial training would be given at the head office in HCMC. After this initial training, the follow-up training would take place in the field at the production facilities in the Southern Mekong Delta and central Vietnam. The employee would be required to follow up on productions together with locally employed quality inspectors for a period of +/- 3 months. This in order to learn all aspects of the productions and product specifications of the company. Eventually, the job execution would mainly take place at the head office in Ho Chi Minh City.
