Assistant Vice President - Deposit & Remittance Team

* Key Responsibilities and Duties:

+ Supervise and support subordinates to handle all outward and inward remittance transactions.

+ Approve payments via local payment systems, Swift and other internal systems.

+ Checking Audit confirmation, Account Balance certificate, other certificates…

+ Handle all issues related to the payments/settlements with front offices/customers/correspondent banks…

+ Report to HOD any irregular issue(s) related to banking business during the day.

+ Review, update Procedure manual, operation checklist, internal bank rules, memoranda, local regulations, or any specific instructions from HOD & Management.

+ Proactively propose initiatives to improve/streamline the process, enhancing daily operation.

+ Provide training/workshop to team members for new product/service, local regulation when required.

* Position Requirements:

Education Level/certificates:

+ Essential: Bachelor Degree

+ Preferable: Honor in Banking, Finance, Economics

Experience and skills:

+ Essential:

- At least 10 years working experience in Remittance section of foreign banks.

- Strong knowledge of local regulation related to remittance section.

- Leadership skill.

- Coaching skill.

- Fluent English & Vietnamese.

- Good analytical and communication skills.

- Being accountable, proactive, self-motivated, trustworthy and detail-oriented.

- Ability to work both independently and as a team member under high pressure.
