Automation Engineer

Job Purpose

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, coding, and operating automation control systems, including PLC and SCADA platforms, to support the company's smart factory and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation solutions for production lines.

• Create detailed software specifications and code for PLC and SCADA systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams and departments throughout project execution.

• Operate, monitor, and upgrade automation systems following digital transformation rollouts.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Formal degree in Automation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.

• Strong expertise in coding and developing PLC and SCADA control systems.

• Familiarity with the ISA-95 standard is an advantage.

• Hands-on experience implementing automation projects in manufacturing environments.

• Experience working in food or beverage manufacturing environments is preferred.

• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and automation software.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficient in English (spoken and written).

• Demonstrates a high level of ownership, learning agility, and the ability to perform under pressure.
