Automation Engineer

• Collect data on new projects from HQ and collaborate with other departments at the VN site on technical issues.

• Conduct research on technical data and documentation.

• Translate technical data and documentation.

• Install new equipment.

• Set up new equipment and back up programs and software.

• Create maintenance plans, SOPs, and check sheets (including daily and preventive check sheets).

• Test and pilot new equipment for acceptance.

• Provide training to maintenance engineers on operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, etc.

• Repair and address complex issues in the automation system, including PLC programs, HMI programs, and software.

• Enhance equipment as required by other departments to increase capacity and quality.

• Have experience in the automation field.

• Ability to work with the automation equipment (operate, repair, maintain).

• Ability to work with Mitsubishi PLC, Weintek HMI, ABB/Epson robots, Vision, etc.

• Capability to work under high pressure.

• Willingness to work overtime as per the work plan.

• Knowledge of automation equipment such as photo sensors, pressure sensors, inverters, servos, etc.
