Automation Engineer (Team Leader)

A. Job Summary: Mainly maintain auto machine daily, including study and train/lead tech to maintain auto machine

B. Detail Job:

1. Define potential area or process that have a chance automation to replace HC or be feasibility in

order to improve the outputs.

2. Analyze the input requirements, in-process factors and outputs to develop machine/equipment or PSPHW

to optimize the process (Quality, Quantity).

3. Analyze failures to identify design, process, material and quality improvement opportunities.

4. Build the data base requirements for machine that will work with various model and fast change-over.

B. Development and Mass Production

1. Perform the development and design of automation equipment:

+ Make the development and MP plan.

+ Modelling design with principal (overall, and specific mechanism)

+ Optimization and combination characteristics (by team-work meeting with cross-function and buy-in

ideas): fool-proof solution and zero harmful for safety issue.

+ Automation equipment specifications

+ Build time chart elements with the range of improvability or extension, increasing capacity

+ 3D design/2D design in details with material specifications.

+ Build the part list (BOM).

+ Configuration, programming and installation of software systems (PLC, RTU, HMI, Relay)

+ Build the system diagram of the industrial automatic machine

(Electrics/Electronics/Air/Hydraulics)

+ Analyzing the cost and optimizing material unit price to meet the TARGET PRICE.

+ Development the method for fast model change-over.

+ Composing assembly manuals/ operation manuals and failure/troubleshooting.

+ Work with outsourcing vendor to be right fabrication at the first time.

+ Development of design guidelines and Preventive action plans.

2. Provide assembly training for trainers, technician and quality members

3. Improve and level up the current equipment toward productivity and quality.

4. Improve KPIs continuously: Productivity improvement, UPD, HC optimization, LBE, Ergonomics.

Educational background: University at Automotive/Mechanical/Engineering/Information

Science/Electronics/Electrics

Experiences:

- Experienced at least 02 automation project leading that applied actually, for example ROBOT, AGV,

Material loading/unloading Automation conveyor or the smart machine/tool have been replacing human.

- Minimum 5 years experienced in automation equipment design or onsite maintenance in manufacturing

company.

- Familiar with one of 3D software design tool: SOLIWORKS, Pro-E, CATIA, NX, INVENTER (Mechanic

Engineer)

Skills:

- Language: English or Chinese in basic communication, reading and writing

- Ability to understand, apply and implement concepts to development and PM.

- Quality mindset for continuous process improvement

- Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome.

- Demonstrate potential to design, analyze and implement industrial engineering techniques.

- Math and analytical skills.

- Creativity and good problem solving, communications, presentation skills.
