Automation Testing Engineer

You will join the QA team and implement the automation testing to improve quality and reduce IT product and service development time:

What will you be responsible for?

• Implement shift-left, automated testing first to test early and often

• Analyze the project and come up with a suitable, optimal and effective automated testing strategy

• Collaborate with the project team, build a test environment and automate test cases according to the proposed strategy

• Integrate automated testing suite into CICD process

• Always think and improve automated testing suites to improve performance and automation speed

Must-have qualifications:

• At least 2 years of automation testing experience in WEB UI or API testing or Mobile testing.

• Experience with Java and any other programming languages (C#, Python, Javascript)

• Expert in one or more automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Protractor, Cypress, Robot etc.)

• Working within agile development teams with a BDD approach and supporting the developers to quality assure developments early.

• Good experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured ) and contract-based testing (e.g. PACT)

• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies covering test levels, static test, dynamic test

• Strong English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment

• Good ability in troubleshooting and consult the development team to fix the issues

Nice to have:

• Exposure to AWS or any other cloud services (Azure, GCP)

• DevOps: Able to operate in a Cloud, CI/CD environment
