ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re introducing a modern molecular diagnostics solution to the Vietnam market. We need a smart, Vietnam‑based professional who can open doors with hospitals and laboratories, explain the clinical and operational value in clear terms, arrange on‑site meetings and small evaluations, and convert interest into adoption. You don’t have to be a biologist—backgrounds in biology, biotechnology, chemistry, medical lab technology, or IVD sales are all welcome. What matters is your grasp of how molecular testing fits into clinical workflows and your strength in outreach, follow‑up, and relationship‑building.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Identify & approach target hospitals, private labs, and clinics; build and maintain a contact list.

Set meetings and demos, present the technology in clear Vietnamese and English, and handle follow‑ups.

Coordinate pilots/evaluations with lab teams (workflow, basic data capture, feedback).

Summarize insights from clinicians and labs to guide next steps and local materials (one‑pagers, slides).

Track pipeline activity in a simple CRM and provide brief weekly updates.

WHAT YOU BRING

Based in Vietnam with ability to visit hospitals and labs.

Working knowledge of molecular diagnostics (RT‑PCR / multiplex concepts, controls, sensitivity/specificity, basic lab workflow).

Comfortable speaking with clinicians and lab professionals; clear written and spoken Vietnamese (native/proficient) and English (professional).

Organized, persistent outreach style; able to turn technical features into practical clinical value.

Backgrounds that fit include Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biophysics, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or IVD sales/field applications. (A formal biology degree is helpful but not required if you understand the tech and the market.)

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

Based in Vietnam with the ability to travel to hospitals and labs.

Solid understanding of molecular diagnostics—especially RT‑PCR / multiplex PCR (Seegene or similar platforms).

Comfortable discussing Ct values, controls, sensitivity/specificity, panel design, and lab workflow (extraction → amplification → analysis).

Proven experience in IVD sales, field applications, clinical marketing, or hospital business development (2+ years preferred).

Excellent communication in Vietnamese (native/proficient) and English (professional working).

Organized, persistent, and able to turn technical features into clinical value (faster diagnosis, fewer repeat tests, better triage).

NICE TO HAVE

Existing relationships with ID physicians, microbiologists, or lab managers in major hospitals (HCMC/Hanoi/Đà Nẵng).

Familiarity with MOH registration pathways, tendering, and distributor management.

Background in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or similar.

(A degree helps but is not required if you bring strong IVD experience and a relevant network.)

Experience running or supporting pilots/evaluations in clinical labs.
