* Work location: Vung Ang Economic Zone, Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam * Job type: full time permanent * Employee type: local Vietnamese POSITION SUMMARY Assist in maintenance and repairs of boiler, ESP, AHS, FGD, WT and WWT mechanical systems including related BOPs, auxiliary mechanical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operation. Based on gained experience, O&M manuals and procedures, he will be able to understand failure symptoms and repair accordingly. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following: • Perform maintenance duties in a safe, environmentally friendly and workmanlike manner. • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler, ESP, AHS, FGD, WT, WWT system and related mechanical equipment. • Assist in troubleshooting and isolating boiler, ESP, AHS, FGD, WT and WWT system equipment problems and implement corrective actions as appropriate. • Prepare, maintain and update documentation, reports and CMMS as required. • Perform other comparable and related duties as assigned. * VAPCO is a fair Employer. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS • College's degree in Mechanical or chemical engineering. • 1 years’ experience as boiler technician at thermal power plant. • Familiar with P&ID drawing, Visual inspection and periodic maintenance for Mechanical facilities such as Boiler, Boiler auxiliaries, etc. • Prefer a certificate of completion for the training course on the routine or preventive maintenance work of Boiler, Boiler auxiliary of Super critical coal boiler power plant and ESP, AHS, FGD, WT, WWT. • Upper beginner level communication skills in the English language .
