Branch Manager - Vietnam

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

You will actively participate in and build relationships with VN AX® manufacturing partners across New Product Creation, Right material Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Q/A support in conjunction with Office management. You will contribute to developing the new Vietnam AX® material range and regional AX® Sales activities.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON.

You will work closely with AX® VN Manufacturing Partners and the AX® Global Regional office, including Matmarket AX® Asia teams and the Matmarket HQ USA East and West office.

You will experience the development and evolution of material range, strategic thinking, and cultivating trust-based and collaborative partnerships with the Global regulatory team.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing Partners to establish new product creation.

Further, you will help drive the continuous improvement of product development, costing, and commercialization and bring new ideas to the soft goods industry Market.

This role will serve as both an internal and external subject matter expert.

Lead AX® office in Vietnam.

You will report directly to the Director of AX® Materials based in Korea

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Vietnam AX® Office Management

o Ensure the local office operates according to all local rules and regulations.

o Keep leadership informed of updates to regulations that might affect the office.

o Working with the Chief Technology Officer to ensure office/employee technology and software is meeting company standards

o Implementation and oversight of HR/Admin

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key manufacturing partners in Vietnam

• New Product Development creation in Vietnam, focused on Textile and Synthetic

• Manage the Customer Service Management team

• Find new business opportunities with current and existing customers in Vietnam

• Monitor order processing, forecasting, and planning for the region

• Oversight of regional manufacturing supply chain

o Monitor the flow of materials and goods

o Ensure proper application of all compliance and quality standards.

o Temporary Support QC activity in AX® manufacturing partners.

• Responsible for conflict resolution

• More than 6+ years of experience in the footwear, glove, or textile industry, preferably in development, commercialization, or production.

• Local staff management experience is required.

• Strong understanding of local regulations related to running an office and business in Vietnam.

• Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from management, clients, and other employees of the organization.

• Team player - Works well in an international team environment.

• Excellent written and oral communication in English and Vietnamese, and the ability to communicate effectively through Microsoft Office & SAP Software.

• Knowledge of textile/synthetic industry, manufacturing, innovation, costing, and global business management; experience with footwear/apparel/gloves supply chain preferred

• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic team leadership, implement best practices, recruit, mentor and train team members

• A pragmatic thinker and creative problem solver who will proactively research and drive collective resolution

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong influencing, motivational and leadership skills

• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity, remain flexible, be results-oriented, and work productively within US-based matrixed organization

• Mentor and help train new or less experienced team members

• High proficiency using MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time- Local or Overseas if needed.

• Male/Female 35 to 50 Preferred, Graduated from University or Higher.

• The English Communication is the most important with Industry experience, Since weekly conference with China/US/Korea team is needed.

*Salary & Benefits.

- The Monthly salary range will be local director level start from $2,000 to $3,000 based on each candidate’s performance & experience.

- Yearly Bonus. 50% to 200% of Monthly salary depends on Yearly company & employee performance. ( Bonus requirement- Bonus is only for the employee has joined over than 1Y has deserve to have yearly Bonus.)

- Social/ Health/ Unemployment insurance are following Vietnam Law.

- Lunch allowance is supported by company- Monthly.(as below)
