Role Purpose
The Brand Sourcing & Business Analyst serves as a bridge between data analytics and commercial expansion, responsible for identifying, analyzing, and recommending promising brand partnerships—both international and Vietnamese local brands—for distribution or joint-venture opportunities.
You will lead brand scouting, due diligence, and commercial feasibility studies, ensuring every new brand investment or partnership decision is backed by strong market data, financial modeling, and consumer insights.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Sourcing & Partnership Development
- Research and identify emerging global and Vietnamese brands suitable for M Asia’s distribution markets (Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia).
- Evaluate each brand’s product category, scalability, and alignment with consumer trends.
- Initiate communication and pitch partnership opportunities to local Vietnamese brand owners, including FMCG, lifestyle, and specialty consumer products.
- Support negotiations for distribution, licensing, or co-branding agreements.
- Work with brand owners to tailor market-entry strategies based on data and local insights.
Market Intelligence & Data Analytics
- Conduct in-depth market research on pricing, category trends, and consumer demand.
- Build financial models and ROI simulations for each potential brand or product.
- Analyze ongoing brand performance, sales velocity, and profitability by channel (MT, GT, kiosks, online).
- Prepare strategic reports for management, highlighting risks and growth opportunities.
Joint Venture & Investment Opportunities
- Identify Vietnamese SMEs or entrepreneurs seeking regional expansion through partnerships with M Asia.
- Conduct financial and operational due diligence on potential joint-venture partners.
- Support the preparation of investment proposals, business cases, and partnership decks.
Operational & Supply Chain Collaboration
- Collaborate with supply chain and commercial teams to assess inventory turnaround rates, lead times, and cost implications for new brands.
- Monitor demand forecasting accuracy and stock movement efficiency to minimize risk exposure.
- Ensure brand performance metrics align with profitability and operational KPIs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Data Analytics.
- 3–5 years of experience in FMCG, retail, or brand development.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen; able to interpret data to guide business decisions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Vietnamese and English.
- Experience working with local brands, suppliers, or retail partners in Vietnam is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with data tools (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau) and basic financial modeling.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Compensation & Incentives
- Base Salary: Competitive monthly salary (negotiable based on experience).
