Business Analyst - MES Expert

• Overseeing the comprehensive design of MES applications and modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.

• Proficiency in various project management and business software tools.

• Collaborating closely with Enterprise Architects, Integration Leads, Business Process Experts, Technical Leads, and other team members to deliver holistic solutions for business end-users, adhering to software best practices, standards, and templates.

• In-depth responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure MES solutions align with business strategies.

• Conducting thorough analysis of MES applications to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for MES solutions.

• Offering technical support for MES applications.

• Contributing to the establishment, updating, or re-engineering of standardized processes and best practices.

• Supervising the analysis and design of technology solutions to meet business needs.

• Ensuring requirements are comprehensive, consistent, and feasible, collaborating with developers and leadership to implement strategic technical proposals.

• Leading project teams in implementing proposed solutions throughout the project life cycle, from inception to implementation and go-live.

• Taking charge of functional and technical scoping and design throughout the project life cycle.

• Participating in the research and design of new systems/applications and preparing proposals for innovation.

• Studying and applying IT processes, procedures, and standards, while adhering to IT improvement processes.

• Sourcing and implementing new business technology.

• Conducting hands-on training for relevant areas.

• Contributing to the development of project management processes and standards, and ensuring adherence to them during project implementation.

• Ensuring assigned projects meet IT solution project key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Designing, developing, and implementing MES solutions for complex system integration projects.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required: preferable in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience as an IT functional consultant/business analyst with at least 3 full lifecycle project implementations (in house project is acceptable).

• Project management experience is a plus.

• Experience in Oil & Gas is a plus.

• Strong ability to create reports, presentations and offer recommendations.

• Strong process modelling skill.

• Good teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills used to align the business capabilities and IT systems.

• Demonstrate the ability to project management.

• Fluent in English.
