Business Analyst (Up to Manager)

General Purpose:

Senior Business Analyst is responsible to handle for understanding the user’s business need, capturing the domain expertise that the business has, and translating this accurately into a succinct requirements document that will serve as the input to the system developers.

Main Task & Responsibilities:

The main tasks and responsibilities include but not limit to:

• Leads requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards;

• Document the user’s business requirements in detail, (requirement specifications) with all assumptions and caveats included;

• Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents. Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly;

• Leads testing efforts and ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. And assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.

• Serve as an internal point of contact for Development whenever requirements need to be clarified

• Communicates effectively with users to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management and manages user expectations effectively.

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Computer, Computer Engineering or IT related fields

2. Experience:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in IT related Software/application/system analyst.

• Experience in Business Analyst.

• Experience in Core Insurance System (Life/Asia and Smart400).

• Fluent in Java and J2EE technologies to design and develop and deploy web-based applications would be an advantage.

• At least 2 years in similar Senior BA ‘s roles.
