NYB is seeking a Business Development Associate (Hanoi Office) who is highly motivated, articulate, and commercially driven. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, a passion for technology and biotechnology, and the ability to communicate the value of AI-driven solutions to diverse stakeholders in biotech, pharma, academia, and healthcare.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, supporting the full sales cycle, and strengthening NYB’s presence across global markets. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys opening new doors, building connections, and contributing directly to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
Lead Generation & Market Expansion
● Identify and qualify potential clients across biotech, pharmaceutical, CRO, academic, and healthtech sectors.
● Conduct research on key accounts, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to uncover new business opportunities.
● Build and maintain structured lead lists and sales pipelines using CRM tools.
Relationship Building
● Cultivate long-term relationships with senior stakeholders such as biotech founders, R&D leaders, and scientific teams.
● Represent NYB at conferences, roadshows, networking events, and partner meetings.
● Maintain regular communication with key accounts to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Work closely with product, scientific, and marketing teams to align client feedback with product development.
● Contribute insights to refine NYB’s commercial strategy and market positioning.
● Assist in building sales decks, case studies, and commercial documents.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
● Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, activities, and opportunities.
● Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales progress, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
● Continuously analyze outreach tactics to improve conversion rates and engagement quality.

Education & Background
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–4+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or account management.
• Experience in biotech, pharma, AI/SaaS, or healthtech is an advantage.
Professional Skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
• Ability to learn and articulate complex scientific or technical concepts.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
• Strong organization, planning, and time-management skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus Points:
• Experience selling to pharmaceutical companies, CROs, biotech startups, or research universities.
• Existing network in biotech or healthcare innovation communities.
• Understanding of drug discovery workflows or computational biology concepts.
• Experience working with enterprise clients or long sales cycles.
