Business Development Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive shall act as the representative of the Company to connect with customers and investigate business leads. He/ She will be responsible for developing and driving the business ventures in precious metals trade and recycling.

Job duties

• Engage with existing customers to maintain strong business relationships while actively pursuing new customer acquisition opportunities to drive business growth

• Achieve KPIs within the given time frame.

• Analyze the purchase with consideration of cost efficiency and ensure that the business dealings are profitable.

• Share activities reports on a fortnightly basis to the Business Development Team.

• Manage and maintain the latest accurate customer and/or supplier information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System weekly.

• Attending trade events and conferences to understand the current market trends, government regulations, and competitors’ developments.

• Regular competitor analysis to understand the current market developments and make comparisons to the company’s services.

• Make recommendations on growth strategies, which include identifying and developing new customer bases, to improve the volume and profit margin of the business.

• Ensure all business development activities comply with the Company’s Marketing policies.

• Provide team members with suggestions relating to market and business development.

• Any other ad-hoc duties related to the Company’s business activities.

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline, preferably Engineering.

• Minimum 3 years of experience with similar capacity in recycling or adjacent industries preferred.

• Candidates with proven track records and good references from customers and their former employer will be advantageous.

• Willingness to travel overseas.

• Proficiency in English to ensure seamless communication with our stakeholders.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
