Business Development Executive (Ho Chi Minh)

Job Purpose
We are seeking a Business Development Executive in Vietnam to support our overseas team in driving sales and managing business operations. This role combines sales execution with consultative support—you will not only assist with sales processes and client engagement but also provide feedback and market insights to help shape our local strategies.
The ideal candidate is proactive, independent, and business-oriented, able to build relationships, guide clients, and contribute to aligning local business development activities with the company’s overall direction.
Main Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
• Identify and approach new prospects through calls, emails, and networking.
• Schedule and conduct virtual or face-to-face meetings with clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business.
• Support in negotiating contracts and closing deals under guidance from the sales team.
• Present product solutions and promotions to clients, providing consultative input to address client needs.
• Research sales opportunities and provide recommendations based on market trends and competitor activities.
Consultative & Market Insight
• Act as a local point of contact to provide feedback on business development activities.
• Share insights with management on client preferences, industry shifts, and opportunities for improvement.
• Suggest approaches to strengthen client engagement and alignment with Vietnam’s business culture.
Customer Support & Onsite Assistance
• Visit clients onsite when needed to support sales activities.
• Provide after-sales support, including resolving complaints or product issues.
• Guide customers on pricing, product features, and delivery processes.
Sales & Administrative Support
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, contracts, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports.
• Support pricing strategies, sample coordination, and promotional activities.
Local Business & Market Support
• Liaise with local banks and government offices for paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnam’s business regulations and company policies.
• Collect and report competitor insights and market demand.
Other Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and prepare for client meetings, business events, and appointments.
• Manage necessary logistics, such as booking venues, preparing materials, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the finance team on payments, invoicing, and account follow-ups.
Yêu cầu công việc
Qualifications & Experience
• 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, customer support, or administrative roles.
• Experience working with international companies or foreign clients is a plus.
• Exposure to consultative sales or providing advisory input to management is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Consultative Mindset: Ability to provide feedback and suggest approaches to improve sales strategies.
• Sales & Negotiation: Identify opportunities, engage clients, and support deal closures.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills in Vietnamese and English (spoken & written).
• Market Awareness: Familiar with Vietnam’s business environment, regulations, and competitors.
• Proactiveness: Independent, resourceful, and able to share constructive recommendations.
Other Requirements
• Based in Vietnam and legally eligible to provide services as an independent contractor.
• Willing to travel locally for client meetings and business operations.
• Familiar with Vietnamese banking procedures, business regulations, and contractor tax
compliance.
• Able to coordinate across different time zones (Singapore & Malaysia).
