The Business Development Executive is responsible for initiating and developing business opportunities with new and existing customers. This role will involve developing and managing an individual portfolio while working in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for prospecting, reaching out to referrals, and engaging in business-to-business selling to generate inside and outside transactional sales.
• Oversee both strategic and operational aspects of marketing, sales, and customer relationship activities.
• Provide valuable market feedback to company leadership, addressing competitive offerings, prospect needs, and generating ideas for product development.
• Assume ownership of the sales functions within the business, driving increased revenue and profit to achieve ambitious growth targets.
• Approach each new business call with a professional and knowledgeable demeanor while working towards stringent targets.
• Develop a pipeline of qualified prospects for targeted solicitation, understanding their business and solutions requirements through a consultative business-to-business sales process.
• Plan and coordinate the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
• Maintain agent relationships in accordance with company policy.
• Actively manage Profit and Loss (P&L) and strategic planning.
• Monitor progress of claims and customer satisfaction, leading efforts to resolve issues and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Work in coordination with GM FLS Logistics, Director FLS Logistics, GM FLS Thailand, and Finance, following guidelines issued by them.
• Monitor and enhance the profitability and efficiency of processes within the assigned customer portfolio.
• Collaborate with stakeholding departments and other FLS offices and countries.
• Provide high levels of customer service, particularly for key accounts.
• Drive the development of existing and implementation of new products and traffic lanes.
• Manage costs and revenues within the assigned customer portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with FLS corporate structure, values, and integrity.
• Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Fulfill any other duties as assigned by management.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Development roles within the logistics industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Have a strong command of English, enabling smooth communication both domestically and overseas.
• Demonstrate a track record of commercial performance focused on freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, and supply chain services, including cargo management.
• Exhibit managerial skills in team leadership, organizational management, and multitasking.
• Ability to perform financial calculations, create, and manage budgets.
• Possess solid territory and time management skills.
• Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, and skilled negotiator with a high level of initiative and tenacity.
• Capability to conduct effective presentations and interviews with clients to develop potential business opportunities and maintain ongoing relationships.
• Ethical with sound business judgment, using logic and reasoning to seek alternative solutions and approaches to problems.
