Business Development Manager - Central Vietnam (Danang & Central Region)

Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager – Central Vietnam is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth by developing new customers, strengthening key accounts, and expanding market presence across Central Vietnam. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, executing go-to-market strategies, and building long-term partnerships in the food service, retail, and distribution channels.
This position plays a critical role in expanding the company’s footprint in a developing but strategically important region, balancing short-term sales targets with long-term market development.
Key responsibilities
1. Market Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute a regional business development plan aligned with national sales and growth objectives.
- Identify, target, and onboard new customers, including distributors, wholesalers, key retailers, hotels, restaurants.
- Monitor regional sales performance and take corrective actions to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
2. Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, promotions, and contracts within company guidelines.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through regular engagement, problem resolution, and service coordination.
3. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Collect and analyze market data including competitor activity, pricing, customer trends, and consumer behavior.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management on product portfolio, pricing strategy, and market entry opportunities.
- Identify emerging opportunities in modern trade, foodservice chains, and premium retail formats in Central Vietnam.
4. Cooperation
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of sales and promotional activities.
- Coordinate demand forecasts and promotional plans to minimize stock issues and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
KPI
- Sales revenue and growth rate in Central Vietnam
- New customer acquisition and account activation
- Key account retention and expansion
- Gross margin contribution
Location
Work location: Da Nang
