The role of Business Development Support (BDS) entails tasks and processes to develop and implement growth op-portunities within Vivu Journeys. You are a proactive member of the Business Development Team reporting to the Business Development Support Team Leader. You are going to work closely with regional teams ensuring the execu-tion of the tender invitation from a prospect/client and guarantee all the relevant Vivu Journeys departments will work on specific guidelines and in a timely manner. You are entirely part of the growth of the company, winning a new ac-count being the first milestone before the customer journeys kicks off. You are expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Client’s brand, expectations and standards, and be keen for success.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Sales:
In charge of Business Development Support for all Vivu Journeys des-tinations
Perpetuate key relationships with all internal departments
Engage and work with the Vivu Journeys teams to get all information and rates related to the tender
Prepare the dedicated costing sheets to plug in all rates received and finalize the financial aspect of the tender
Extract the final itineraries from the system
Discuss with BDM in charge of the account to plan and set margins
Suggest and implement ideas that may grow business
Customer Service
Be solutions based when working on a tender
Prepare reviews of program for clients and recommendations on stra-tegic direction (in case of like for like itineraries)
Ensure growth in line with company budget
Support
Liaise with relevant teams once a tender is won to get all itineraries and prices loaded in the system
Make sure the services get renegotiated to ensure profit is maximized
Self Development
• Ask as well as participate in any trainings or upskilling recommended by BDM or you feel relevant to your role
Ensure you maintain up to date with product knowledge and under-stand the Vivu Journeys offerings
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Degree in tourism or hospitality
Minimum 2 years’ experience in DMC environment (Solid sales record is a big plus)
Experience in some of the countries where Vivu Journeys operate (if not all)
Fluent in written and spoken English (French is a plus)
Proven track record in tendering accounts is a big advantage
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
