Role Summary
ACT Academy is hiring a Business Operations Manager to drive profitability and revenue growth while building a strong, scalable operating system. This role leads Finance + Marketing/Sales strategy, B2B business development, and company-wide planning/execution—with a special focus on expanding Adult Acting B2B partnerships.
This is a hands-on leadership role: you will set strategy, build plans, execute with the team, and own outcomes.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities
A) Revenue Growth, Profitability, Finance + Marketing/Sales Strategy
• Own monthly revenue targets and build actionable sales forecasts (weekly + monthly).
• Lead finance team to design and optimize pricing, packages, promos, and sales offers across adult programs.
• Partner with Marketing to create conversion strategy (lead → consult → close → retention).
• Lead business development initiatives to increase profit margin (cost control, upsell, retention, bundles).
• Build profitability models for new products/programs and recommend solutions to meet business goals.
• Track performance KPIs and present clear reporting to leadership.
B) Operations Leadership: Planning, Execution, Team Management, Process Building
• Lead Team to Build and run execution plans for programs and product campaigns.
• Lead team to create planning briefs: execution plans, SOPs, proposals, budgets, staffing plans, training materials.
• Guide and manage cross-functional staff (Admissions, Academic, Marketing support, Operations).
• Lead team to Develop Systems and Operation Guidelines.
• Own project/event delivery quality, ensuring timelines and service standards are met.
C) B2B Revenue Development: Client Service, Contracts, Negotiation, Collections
• With introductions from Academic Director, expand and manage B2B relationships: schools, brands, production companies, and industry clients.
• Confidently communicate & manage relationships with clients, teachers, parents, and internal teams to service, onboard, and coordinate.
• Edit/coordinate contracts and payment terms; follow up on receivables and ensure cash flow discipline.
• Build long-term account management strategy to increase repeat B2B revenue.
D) Data, CRM, and Tech-Savvy Operations
• Manage dashboards and reporting: leads, conversions, revenue, retention, program performance.
• Maintain clean data workflows across CRM and internal trackers.
• Improve efficiency through tech tools (CRM, automation, forms, scheduling, reporting, project tools).
• Recommend and implement tech systems for scale.
Yêu cầu công việc
Required
• 3–5+ years in Business Operations, Growth, Sales/Revenue, Marketing or General Management (education/training/service business a plus).
• Proven record of growing sales revenue and improving profit (must show numbers/results).
• Strong capability in finance thinking: budgeting, forecasting, pricing, profitability modeling.
• Strong planning and project execution experience (events/program delivery).
• Strong client communication and negotiation; contract + payment collection confidence.
• Leadership experience managing teams and building SOPs/processes.
Preferred
• Experience with education, training programs, talent/creative industry, or media/production companies.
• CRM experience (HubSpot/Zoho/etc.), automation tools, reporting dashboards.
• B2B partnerships in universities/schools/brands/creative industry.
