As a Business Performance and Analytics Consultant, you will work as an individual contributor responsible for business performance monitoring and leading business review activities for the company, including but not limited to performance story building, deep-dive & meeting agenda planning, dictating preparation plan, coordination for final report, and managing relationships with counterparts in Group Office.
Description
* Monitor the company's performance health in accordance with the strategic plan and a set of strategic KPIs. Be the source of truth for critical data that serves as the foundation for decision making.
* Analyze the relationship between the company's performance and the status and progress of ongoing strategic and tactical initiatives.
* Prepare an analysis and identify misalignment, the cause of performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
* Conduct ad hoc analytics to identify the root cause of a business issue or potential business opportunity and advise senior management on strategic decisions.
* Plan and manage the periodic management report and business review at the corporate level (for Regional CEO Office, Group Finance, Group Investor Relations, local Board), ensuring proper preparation and effective follow-up.
* Supervise the quality of business performance reports and materials distributed to the Group and local senior management teams.
* Identify and implement solutions to ensure cross-functional reporting consistency.
* Work with the leadership team to assess the business context and develop the strategic direction, goals, and strategic pillars.
* Ensure consistency and alignment in direction, accuracy of information, and targets across functions by conducting a thorough review of underlying models and assumptions and challenging the functional management team to eliminate ambiguity and disconnect.
Profile
* Experience in Financial Services or Consulting industry. Working experience in Life Insurance, particular in Business Analytics is preferred.
* Excellent command of English and Vietnamese, both written and oral.
* Good people and communication skills.
* Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
* Strategic thinking and problem solving.
* Data handling and modeling.
* Presentation and communication.
