Buyer Bilingual Chinese + English

- To perform variety of purchasing duties. - Negotiate with vendor for pricing term and commercial condition. - Receive requisition request and place order, proceed order with supplier, coordinate between supplier and forwarder to get shipment on time. - Contact and follow up with supplier to assure the merchandises arrive according to the agreed date (and work out alternative date if incurs). - Coordinate return of rejected or unsuitable/nonconforming merchandises. - Respond to requests for purchasing data and status of material activities. - Maintains records and files related to purchasing information according to ISO requirement. - Compiles records and tracks purchasing activities and pricing data. - Submit invoice and follow up payment with finance. - Report weekly/ monthly to Manager related to purchasing cost

- Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 4-6 years prior buying, purchasing or related experience. - Strong communication skill in both Chinese and English - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Well versed in purchasing techniques and logistical supply chain. - Well versed in assisting Purchasing Manager in vendor selection and negotiating/developing contracts. - Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function specific software. - Excellent customer service skills. - Excellent purchasing skills with strong business acumen. - Excellent auditing, organizational and attention to detail skills.
