Job description

* Job Purpose or Summary:

• Competitive Intelligence:

o Coordinate with field teams for competitors’ activities & conduct thorough competitor analysis, identifying trends, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.

o Develop and implement effective plans to counter competitor initiatives and maintain market share.

o Stay informed of evolving industry and market dynamics.

• Channel Strategy & Development:

o Develop and execute promotional campaigns and sales initiatives tailored to different store clusters to enhance sales and transactions.

o Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of promotional campaigns.

• Activation Coordination:

o Manage and coordinate the execution of in-store promotional campaigns and activations.

o Ensure seamless collaboration between marketing, store operations, and other departments for successful campaign execution.

o Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and recommend optimizations.

• Store Merchandising Collaboration:

o Partner with the marketing team to develop effective in-store merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and promote sales.

o Oversee the implementation of planograms and ensure consistent execution across all pharmacy locations.


* Main Responsibilities

• Follow strictly to ensure successful execution of marketing and merchandising programs.

• Analyze market data and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive channel development strategy, focusing on sales & transaction growth.

• Collaborate & maintain strong communication channels with internal stakeholders, including marketing, store operations, and regional teams.

• Prepare regular reports on activation performance, competitors’ activities, and other market updates...

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's/MBA preferred)

• Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• Intermediate level in English

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other data analysis tools.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in channel development, franchising, or business development.

• Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations and business trends.

• Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
